Solar & Hand-Crank Backup Power

Three Ways to Keep Your Radio Running

The HelioWavx Emergency Radio never leaves you dependent on a single power source. The solar panel on top tops up the built-in battery in daylight, the hand-crank dynamo on the back gives you immediate manual power whenever you need it, and the battery can also be charged by USB before you set off.

Self-sufficient power means one less thing to worry about in an emergency.

AM/FM Radio with Telescopic Antenna

Stay Informed When Mobile Networks Go Down

When the internet drops and mobile signals become patchy, broadcast radio is often the most reliable way to hear what is happening. The HelioWavx Emergency Radio tunes AM from 520 to 1700 kHz and FM from 87 to 108 MHz, and its telescopic antenna helps you pull in a clearer signal.

Perfect for listening to:

• National and local news
• Weather forecasts and travel updates
• Your favourite music and talk stations
• Sport commentary on camping trips

The HelioWavx Emergency Radio also includes a WX weather band designed for NOAA weather broadcasts, a North American service. In the UK, AM and FM give you access to news and weather from your usual broadcasters.

SOS Siren & Emergency Phone Charger

Be Seen, Be Heard and Keep Your Phone Alive

If you ever need to attract attention, the HelioWavx Emergency Radio has a loud SOS siren with a flashing red beacon. Its 5V USB output lets you give your mobile phone a top-up from the built-in battery so you can still make that important call.

Use it:

• To signal for help on a walk or at a campsite
• To top up your phone during a power cut
• As a warning light by a broken-down car
• To help others locate you in the dark

The bright yellow and black casing makes the radio easy to spot in a bag, a cupboard or on the ground.

LED Reading Lamp & Focused Torch

Light for the Path and Light for the Room

The HelioWavx Emergency Radio gives you two kinds of light. A focused LED torch throws a beam for finding your way along paths or checking the fuse box, while the fold-out diffused LED reading lamp spreads softer light across a room or tent.

Ideal for:

• Power cuts at home
• Reading in the tent
• Night-time walks
• Lighting the kitchen table during an outage
• Checking the car at the roadside

With its 156 × 95 × 55mm body and wrist lanyard, it is easy to carry wherever the light is needed.

Prepared in Three Easy Steps

Charge, Tune and Light Up

1. Charge – leave the solar panel in the light, turn the crank or plug into USB.
2. Tune in – extend the antenna and choose AM or FM.
3. Light up and charge – switch on the torch or reading lamp, sound the siren if needed, or top up your phone over USB.

Simple enough for every member of the family to use with confidence.
